The Arms Hotel Lobby, Friday [5/2]

Today's arrivals would find a large banner with the words "Congratulations Graduates" greeting them as they stepped into the lobby. Mary was waiting at the front desk with the guest register and a lot of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. Normally Friday would be River's day and River would have cookies, but Mary felt bad making her work on graduation weekend and gave her the day off.

Mary had never left the country. She'd never even left Nevada until a few years ago. Still, she smiled and nodded. "I'll keep that in mind if I'm ever in the area," she promised. Who knows what kind of jet-setting lifestyle she might stumble into once George Michael took over the family business?
