Caritas, Sunday
Days like today, when he'd spent an hour or so moving his stuff down to the cabins, Anders was really glad he had that Glider; it wasn't quite as convenient as having a boyfriend on hand to shimmer stuff down, but still easier than walking. Of course, he'd then spent all the time he'd saved packing things up to ship out to Neptune, so he hadn't earned high marks for efficiency.
Well, maybe.
Maybe the Greek air was getting to him in some way or other, because he was leaning against the bar, staring into space and humming tunelessly to himself; he never even noticed that the olives Tino occasionally flicked against his head were kalamatas instead of the usual cocktail olives. Shame about that; he really liked kalamatas.
[OOC: Modding Tino's your best bet tonight, since I'm taking my mom out for dinner shortly and won't be around much until later.]

The Stage
The Bar
. . . well, yeah, okay, he kind of is.
Re: The Bar
Renee sighed, twirling the tiny straw in her orange juice.
Needed to get out more often.
Re: The Bar
Okay, three, if you included the fact that Charlotte was thinking that those workshop things at the school started tomorrow.
One was because you had nothing better to do.
The other was because you were upset and trying to forget about it for a bit.
The third would be that you had to teach a workshop thing, she supposed, but that one didn't apply to her. The others, though, seemed to create an interesting mix of both of the first ones. She hated to assume (really!) that it might be the same case for the other woman in the bar with her at the moment, but, odds are, if they were, drinking alone certainly didn't help in the slightest.
So she sent a friendly smile her way.
And hoped that she didn't think that she might have been the kind of person who was usually drinking on a Sunday evening. She wasn't!
Usually.
Re: The Bar
Renee nodded back, maybe having the vague thought about her drinking on a Sunday.
"Hey."
Re: The Bar
Because Charlotte didn't. Really. Not at all. There just seemed nothing quite like a corny pick up line joke between two women in a unfortunate bar situation, right?
Re: The Bar
So straight it was almost funny.
"Not as much as I used to," Renee said, smirking a little. "You?"

"Usually they like to hurt innocent people," his jaw clenched a little in anger, "Honest, decent folk who often can't fight back. People are scum sometimes."
