Deadpool flopped down on a barstool, eyeing the selection of alcohol. "Hmm, what would be best for an assortment of troubles?"

"They usually say anything in large enough quantities," he remarked. The careful was mostly in his head.

Tyler had liked Deadpool a lot, so he raised his glass in a gesture that was half-salute, half-greeting.

It was that one guy in the weird jumpsuit, but Nate was talking ot him, so maybe he wasn't as crazy as he seemed. He nodded in the man's general direction.

Deadpool just eyed him.

As soon as the husband was gone, people just HAD to start hitting on him, huh?

But he nodded back. Because he was polite. And stuff.

Get out of the house for a spell. Make sure the baby was okay. All the time.

These were two concepts which, as Cable had just decided, were not complete opposites. Which was how a man and a baby (carefully protected by several layers of pouch) arrived at Caritas.

Just for an hour, maybe. "I'll have a root beer." ...No alcohol. Some sacrifices had to be made.

"Root beer?" Jolee asked, pouring a glass for Cable. "You're on the slippery slope to becoming an old man who only drinks water at his own bar." His own glass of water lifted off the bar for emphasis.

"I don't drink alcohol around the baby," Cable replied, with a slight smile. "Wouldn't want to set a bad example."

Which he probably would just by virtue of being him, but.

Juli quirked her eyebrows slightly. She supposed she shouldn't judge the man, after all, you couldn't go by appearances when it came to parenting.

"Should a baby be in a bar?" she asked mildly. At least he wasn't drinking.

Kurogane noticed Nate, and the noticed the baby.

The look said it all. You have a baby, in a bar.

Because really, that line was just to perfect.

Drinking the night before you had to teach probably wasn't the best idea she'd ever had, but Juli felt that she could deal with it. As long as she did it in moderation.

"An apple martini, please," she said, slipping onto a barstool.

"Tino, you only have a pair. You get to make it," Jolee pointed out to his bartender.

Once Tino prepared it, Jolee had the glory of giving it to Juli. "Here you go."

Tyler was staying true to his promise of being at Caritas until things made sense again, and so he was holding down a barstool tonight and nursing a beer.

A notebook was open n front of him, and he was working on lesson plans.

Peter had, perhaps surprisingly, checked his email when he'd returned home from the wedding. The impetus may have been Willow's radio or it may just have been Willow finally rubbing off on him. He had not, however, actually replied to said email.

Which was why he was in Caritas wondering why all the Stickbugs seemed to grow beards when they were older. He should try that out someday.

"Stickbug brother?" he asked, still not sure it was that Tyler.
