The Beach; Early Wednesday Evening.
If anyone asked, which she doubted that they would, but if they did, Adah was prepared. It wasn't the weather, which she had so dutifully dismissed as not her type of weather in the slightest, that had dragged Adah and her limp and her book outside, into the sand, where her toes dug into where the waves would roll up to lick them bashfully before retreating back. It was simple that she had finished the forward read through Paradise Lost and now that she was embarking on the backwards read through, she had to reverse her situation to match the reversal of words. Inside to outside, back to front.
Besides, she realized that she hadn't enjoyed the feeling of warm sand beneath her in a long while, although she had to admit to liking a chill in the air over this warmth, for reasons that would, of course, remain unspoken.

Adah barely glanced up, but her smirk and a quiet response with a simple flip of the page, pushed along by the pinky of the same hand that held her book, let him know that, yes, she noticed him. "Nothing," she said, "I haven't dealt with before." Which she trusted that he'd recall, as well, but with males and their faulty, selective memories, who could tell?

Her nose wrinkled slightly, a very distinct assessment on exactly what she thought of weather like this.

That in particular added a new, bright sharpness to her grin. "Finally, the cure for my boredom illness."

Adah rolled her eyes. And then she paused, a passing moment, before earning a crookedly beaming grin.
"But, no. Not yet, but perhaps for this project. It all depends, really, on how the lump's notes come out."
