Groovy Tunes; Friday [ 06/06 ]
Not that Chad didn't believe in giving things up for your art, but he had to admit to be glad to being able to immerse himself in an art that was a little more comfortable than what fashion had proved to be yesterday. He sat behind the counter with his guitar, idly plucking along to the music between customers and other, most likely managerial business.
Today's Mix: Sex Blurred Weekend
No, the mix wasn't going to be applicable; it was just a good mix, dammit.
Groovy Tunes is open!

Or accompaniment.

She smiled at that. He'd been playing at the picnic too. She drifted closer, silently, not willing to distract him in the middle of a song.

No stuttering even, she smiled more at that.

"Good. A little bummed about having to be here tonight so I miss the festival, but I skipped last week for the France trip, so I couldn't do it again, you know?"

But Hinata's point only reminded him of the fact that, normally, he would have had Teddy around to keep him company, too. But he didn't mind, really. It was okay...
Re: Talk at Chad -- 06/06
"I could keep you company if you'd l-like?" Hinata offered. "I wouldn't m-mind."
And she wouldn't really.

Pause.
"There's music here, too, I know, but it's not the same when you could be enjoying it live and stuff."
Re: Talk at Chad -- 06/06
"Y-You're playing live too," she offered. "And if the b-beach is still there tomorrow I can go and look and not have to w-worry about all the people."

And quiet had never meant she wasn't determined. Hinata was still puzzled over Sokka's surprise that she could be a ninja with her demeanor. What did that have to do with anything?
"P-Perhaps," Hinata agreed, folding tucking her hands in her sleeves and trying not to play with them. "If y-you'd rather I go, Chad-san, I w-will. But if y-you'd rather I stay, I c-can do that as well."

Hinata figured the natives would be happy to help her with that question though.
She giggled, just a little. "Anything e-else you'd like?"
Re: Talk at Chad -- 06/06
"Maybe a smaller coconut for Prince Oscar Pedro."
Re: Talk at Chad -- 06/06
"I'll do my best," she promised him. "B-Because he shouldn't be left out e-either."

He ducked his head, so the next part could come out in a rumbled, secretive whisper, "And some on your way out, too."
