Caritas - Monday evening [6/23]

Jolee was at the bar. Exciting stuff.

[OOC: Not feeling great tonight. I'm around for a while, but will probably be slow.]

It was possible Dawn had never needed to be in a bar so much in her entire life. She signalled Tino for a bunch of shots of tequila, some limes, and some salt, then proceeded to work her way through them.

Anything she could do to make her brain stop thinking would be good. And with her lack of practice drinking, she'd probably be close to that sooner, rather than later.

John waved a little shot glass in Dawn's direction. "Cheers!"

Dawn waved a lime slice towards John. Possibly. He now seemed to have a twin, so she aimed for the one on the left. With the hair. "So's your old man!"

Then she did another shot and sucked on the lime she'd waved at him.

John slid over to sit by her and snagged a lime. "Did you just call me an asshole?" What? She mentioned his old man. It went with the territory.

"What? No," she said, looking at him funny. Not like she had much choice at this point. "I was answering you."

After the weekend and morning he'd had, John deserved a drink. Many many drinks. Potentially ones with little umbrellas that he could throw at people if they annoyed him.

He'd work up to that. John started with shots of...well he wasn't sure what they were, but Tino brought a whole line of them for him to make his way through.

Lana waved over at him, nearly sloshing some of her drink as she did so. "Survived the weekend?"

"Cheers!" John said, tipping a shot toward her. "To survival and stuff!"

"Survival and not having people you care about die because of you," she agreed and took another long drink. "And not sleeping! No dreams!"

Johnny definitely needed a drink. He asked Tino for tequila and had shot glasses coming, one after the other.

"Don't you think you'd be better off just taking the entire bottle rather than downing shots?" This was what passed for polite from Eve when she was still mildly furious with her daughter's boyfriend.

She herself was working her way through some random drink she'd developed a taste for back when the island had been in Greece.

"No. I can quit shots. Not a bottle." Yes, this made perfect sense.

"And you'd want to quit the shots why, exactly? Seems like you've got more than enough reason to drink yourself senseless." Though she so wasn't dragging him home afterwards.

... Okay, yes, she would.

Lana waved over at Johnny. "Hey."

"Heeeeey, Lana!" He grinned. Drunkenly. But it was a grin all the same. "How ya doing?"

"Didn't kill anyone I care about, so things are looking up," she said brightly. Mostly because she'd gotten a few drinks in her.

Lana stopped by, just wanting to drink and not think about anything.

Being here probably wasn't the smartest move, but at least there were other people areound.

Tony was enjoying himself in the lounge. Drinking his scotch and watching the kids get alcohol poisoning.

Oh, this was just the cheer up he needed.

"Hey," Lana said, wandering over. "You look nice. Are you drinking something nice, too?"

Well. Hello.

Tony did a rough calculation of her age and... oh, a little flirting couldn't hurt.

Especially when she was using that as a pick up line.

"I always look nice," Tony said with a smirk. "I like to think my drink follows suit."

She smiled at him. "Good to know. Can I try it? I'll let you try mine."

Dirty?

And she was totally 21, despite the fact that her ID didn't recognize the two years she'd spent trapped in the past.
