Ino was… rather mutinous really when she showed up to work. She’d much rather be flying, but no, she couldn’t now.

Stupid work.

As she went about tidying up the store though her mood started to improve, and by the time she flipped the sign to Open, Ino was giggling.

What was with all the fruit everywhere? Seriously.

“I’m blaming Liir,” she told the drawer full of oranges. “Because, come on, honestly.”

Wellspring Arms is Open.

Ned hadn't been in this store before and, since he was trying to get out more (trying being the operative and very difficult word), he pushed open the door.

With his eyes shut.

"Oh!" He opened his eyes at the familiar voice and relaxed a little. "I was just preparing myself in case this store was..."

"It's not crazy," Ino assured him. "Everything really weapony is locked up, promise. And they'd have to go through me to get any of it."

"What kind of weapons?" Ned asked, wandering further into the store. "Squirt guns? Or, I mean, real guns! Real ones."

"We had squirt guns when everyone went wee and tiny," Ino said, giggling again. "But, yeah, for most of the time it's real weapons. Guns, spears, knives, wire... pretty much anything you could think of, really."

"I've never really seen real weapons," he explained. "So, I'm kind of...dumb when it comes to them. I mean, I've seen squirt guns and someone once clocked me with a stick but that's it."

Lana stopped in, narrowly dodging a couple of limes, and laughed at Ino's giggling. What? It was contagious.

"Someone's in a good mood," she said.

"I'll be good," Ino's shoulders shook with mirth. "I found, like, an army of lemons and limes in Cable-san's desk this morning. It's hilarious."

Since he was in town on his way to dropping off the next part of the story for Amber, Cal decided to make a small detour before hitting up Turtle & Canary, remembering that Ino was working today, too, and that he hadn't really talked to her a bit, and was wondering how he was doing. So he strolled into the store, took an idle glance at all the guns on the wall, metaphorical and actual, and then lifted a hand. "Hey."
