The Boards - Rehearsal - Tuesday, 9/9

Geoffrey had woken up early today.

Today... was the start of a new play. Today he'd get to deal with a new set of actors, a new text, a new production. Today, a fresh new brew of insanity was due to begin percolating.

It was like crack.

For today, they'd be doing a read through and so he set up the chairs in a circle before taking his own seat.

G'Kar stood up. "I am G'Kar," he gave a slight bow, "and I had the honor of working with Geoffrey and some of you on the last production. I look forward to working with all of you again." Then he sat back down.

He was pretty sure he knew just about everyone else, so Cal made it simple and sweet. "Hi. Cal. Died at the start of the last play; that was fun. Now I'm one of the dons and an understudy."

Still liked being the dead one better...

Sitting in a circle with a bunch of monkeys introducing themselves was so not Gabriel's thing. Still, he studied the others carefully, fixing his gaze on them in turn, them smiled oddly. "I'm Gabriel."

A circle meant lots of peoples' eyes on him, but Fiyero supposed that he ought to get used to it again.

Just close your eyes and think of Shiz.

"Ah, you can call me Fiyero if you'd like to. This is my first experience with 'Shakespeare'."

Tony had his script open and a notebook next to it. He took notes throughout the read through.

Cal had been trying to memorize most of his part and a good deal of his understudy part in the past week, and so, as they read through it, his main objective was to see how much he could already recall without looking at the script.

It tended to be fairly hit-and-miss.

Off stage, Amber just continued to read over her script, every so often casting glances over at someone else.
