Caritas - Sunday evening [Open]

Jolee was grouchy tonight. Not that this was a big change from normal, but it might be noticeable. Somebody else had taken up residence in the woods that had been basically empty aside from him and the animals. The Onsen he could deal with. An abandoned mansion? Not a problem. Other people? That caused minor annoyance. And when Jolee had nothing better to do, he let minor annoyance inspire him into greater curmudgeonly behavior.

And that was what he did for fun, so, really, he probably liked having someone else out there. Not that he'd admit it.

Tony had received his online order Saturday and was wearing his sexy new pants with a satin turquoise shirt.

Okay, they were new pleather pants. He had budget issues. They still looked hot on him.

He got a beer and found a place in the lounge to sit and wait for Seregil.

Seregil got a drink at the bar when he came in, then went in search of Tony. "Well, well, well," he said admiringly as he walked up.

Tony stood up and turned around slowly. "I keep my promises," he grinned.

"So I see," Seregil said, giving him the once over. "You should wear leather more often."

"Thank you." Tony sat down again. "How've you been?"

"Aside from female a few days ago you mean?" Seregil asked with a smile.

Tony groaned. "You too?"

Seregil nodded. "And my roommate."

"A lot of people, apparently. That was so not an experience I ever expected to have."

"I've come to the conclusion that that could be Fandom's motto -- experience you never expected."

"Just when you think you're used to the weird - girl parts!"

"Rather educational actually," Seregil said. "The next time I have to disguise myself as a woman, I'll have this experience to draw on."

"You do that often?" Tony asked.

"I wouldn't say often, but it does come up sometimes."

"I bet you make a very pretty girl," Tony smiled.

"Well," Seregil said grinning, spreading his arms. "And I'm sure I can say likewise."

Tony laughed. "Hopefully you'll never find out. It was pretty freaky waking up and finding parts missing!"

Seregil chuckled. "I'm beginning to think I'm the only one who considered it an adventure."

"I've never really gone in for that brand of experimentation," Tony said.

Seregil shrugged. "I'm pretty open minded, I guess."

"I don't think there's anything wrong with it," Tony said hastily. "Just not for me."

"There's something to be said for knowing yourself as well," Seregil said.

"Well," Tony grinned, "I'd say I know myself a little better after this week."

Seregil chuckled. "You're taking it better than Harry did. It was an effort to just get home to pull the covers off his head."

"The adrenaline surge got me up pretty quick," Tony said.

Seriously, though. The 1000 K. Think about it.
