Monthly Market - The Park, Saturday Afternoon

Once again, the market crew had gone in and set up booths all over the park, decorating them in cheerful ways and putting down seats for those who might be tired from browsing all the wares. It was a little chilly, so a lot of the booths were wrapped up a little more to shield from any wind that might make it worse. The Monthly Market was open again.

Sarah was at the table, meticulously rearranging the comics by alphabetical and date order.

She had also set yup a few action figures fighting each other, though that caused her some consternation. They didn't quite bend the right way.

Silk paused at the booth, looking at the wares in interest. He was equally fascinated by both the comics, and the bendy statues.

"Hullo, Sarah," Daisy, who had somehow acquired another cup of tea, gave her fellow MHA tenant a smile as she drifted over to her booth.

"Ahhh! Ahhh!" Momoko geeked when she saw the comics booth, and ran over. "A comics booth! And you sell action figures? Oh my gosh, do you have the 1993 Gosei Daishinryu figure that actually morphs from dragon to warrior mode? It's the only one I'm missing from my set and it's really frustrating to not have the complete set of the mechas from that season, even if they're not all MIB. And they're not, since who can stand having a toy and not playing with it? So even if the figure is used, if you have one and it's in sorta good shape, can I still buy one?"

Momoko finally took a breath and smiled hopefully up at the person running the booth.

And there's a rather pleased-looking Eliza bustling about, checking on the baskets of flowers, and every so often stopping to admire the sign, which has all its E's in place, thank you very much.

"Oh!" Daisy, of course, stopped to smell the roses. Or whatever flower was nearest at hand, anyway, they were all quite nice. "Bless, such nice little arrangements."

Re: Booth: Kirk's Friendship Bracelets

[identity profile] humankirk.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 03:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Kirk set up his booth with all kinds and colors of friendship bracelets. Bracelets with two colors, bracelets with three colors, bracelets with beads, bracelets with beads with letters, bracelets with beads with letters that spelled 'freinds' that Kirk didn't notice was a misspelling, and even bracelets with charms that had Kirk's face drawn on them poorly.

There was also, of course, a sign.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A KIRK FRIENDSHIP BRACELET
THEN YOU DON'T HAVE FRIENDS!

[OOC: I'll be afk from about 3 PM Eastern until sometime later, but I should be back early enough to pick up some pings tonight.]

The man who called himself Radek, was whistling a jaunty tune as he set up his wares. There was jewelry, daggers, scarves, small statuary, and more. He was glad to be back in this fascinating place.

Claudia had enjoyed her time at Fandom the previous time and was excited to be back. She sat in her booth, smiling cheerfully as she had a selection of the type of art that she was selling that day spread out on the counter.

Vianne set up the booth with the ease of someone long-used to doing so quickly; before long, there were several different kinds of chocolates arranged, and, on top of a handwavily? powered hot plate, a pot of hot cocoa, steaming away.

Her young daughter, Anouk, sat just behind the booth, playing clapping games... with her imaginary pet kangaroo, Pantouffle.

Simon had had a quiet week due to the mun being away and it was about time he left his room. The market attracted his attention, and after picking up a cup of tea at the Perk booth, he found a seat.

Ah, well, this was a nice little bazaar set-up, wasn't it? Daisy, armed with a nice warm cup of team, took a moment to sip at it before heading out to browse over the booths.
