Chilly Boulder, Late Saturday Afternoon/Early Evening

Dōjima had promised Cal ice cream for his birthday, and she had meant it.

Admittedly, he probably wasn't expecting the store to be filled with balloons, streamers, and people, but Dōjima tended to be a bit of a dork about things like this, especially when it came to her friends.

Besides, he had said it was okay if she brought a small army, so inviting the entire student body was perfectly acceptable, right? Right.

"Last semester, they did a sort of... alternative, view on the subject," Angela explained with a grin. "The sex ed teacher was a bit, uh repressed."

Dinah chortled, and put one hand to her face. "Oh, really? God. Mr. Rogers is a little, um. Awkward, but he's not repressed. Not after giving up plushy diseases to play with." She snickered. "So what did Dojima say that was so different?"
