The Boards - Tuesday, 2/17 - REHEARSAL!

With the water damage mostly dealt with, the rink gone from his seating area (in the theatre, thank you), and rehearsal today, Geoffrey had to admit today was a pretty good day.

Of course, the actors weren't here yet. He'd have to see how this went.

There were, as was becoming habit, some muffins and coffee/tea to choose from. Muffins were a good anytime food.

But you can also talk. Quietly, anyway.

Amber helped herself to a muffin and some coffee though she really didn't need any help in the bouncy department. Which was to say, she was in a great mood.

She had to admit that, between work and rehearsal, she was glad for the muffin to stave off her hunger.

Dinah (after being incredibly silly with Amber) was mumbling her lines to herself, a bit more relaxed now. Although also more caffienated.

There seemed to be a good supply of coffee and bakery goods on this island. Leto had quickly learnt to appreciate it, and he picked up a coffee and a muffin.

Amber went through her lines, knowing them perfectly word for word. But today, well, she was a bit too happy in her presentation. She bounced here and there and was smiling where and when one shouldn't be smiling,

She had no idea this was distracting.

"Our purposes God justly hath discover'd!" Bounce. "And I repent my fault more than my death!" She grinned, and brushed hair back from her brow. "Which I beseech your highness to forgive, although my body pay the price of it." Bouncing again, she bit her bottom lip and just stood there.

Having got some of her nerves out with the sword-work, Dinah was only marginally anxious.

Maybe trembling a little. But hey, she was remembering the lines!

When capital crimes, chewed...." Dinah paused. "Chewed."

She even had little Pez candies glued to her headband and a necklace with a Pez dispenser. "Geoffrey?" Okay. She so wanted this to be nothing, but if it wasn't.... "I might, maybe, not be here next week. Okay, definitely not next week, that's Spring Break anyway. But, uh. The week after that. If my sisters pull me out of school." Dinah winced. "Maybe I can convince them to let me stay in the play, even if I'm in New Jersey?"
