Around town, Saturday evening

Wow, this had gotten really bad. Buffy had had herself a couple close calls, which would happen when the zombies were freaking everywhere, and today she really had worn old clothes knowing they'd get covered in things she didn't want to think about, and she'd had to clean off her sword more than once, and while she'd seen some really gross things in her time, that really kind of topped it so far.

She knew it wasn't going to be long before she had to head back to the dorms, but for now, she was still patrolling the streets. And alleyways. And etc. etc. etc.

And at this point it would be advisable that no one sneak up on her unless they wanted their heads removed.

[Open post! Living and undead of the PC and NPC variety welcome. Buffy does not agree with me on the 'welcome' part, but she can bite me.]

The zombies finally caught sight of the girl and immediately abandoned their game for possible food. The one legged zombie got to his feet unsteadily and had to jump towards Buffy. The other lumbered slowly, teeth bared and stained red and green.

The zombie with both legs stopped. He could see she was approaching them and, with some apparent insight, he turned around and snagged the leg the other zombie had lost.

And held it aloft. He was going to do battle with a leg. The other zombie continued jumping towards Buffy.

The zombie was very serious. He had a leg and he wasn't afraid to use it! The other zombie really had nothing but the power of his bunny hop but he was getting there.

The two legged zombie (three if you counted his boomstick) swung the leg in Buffy's direction as he approached.

The zombie threw the leg at Buffy in one final attempt at taking her down before he was pretty much impaled by the sword. He was like a pig on a spit, stuck on a sword with nowhere to go.

He had to depend on his friend, the one legged zombie now.

The zombie on Buffy's sword twitched disgustingly before stilling and going limp.

The one legged zombie most definitely did want to go. He jumped as quick as he could, trying to avoid any bumps or holes in the ground.

The one legged zombie was going to get there. He was going to get there sometime. He hopped and growled and groaned and hopped until he was close enough to try and grab Buffy's hair.

The zombie groaned and staggered backwards haltingly, trying to keep on his feet. He attempted to take a hunk of hair with him but probably failed. Still, he jumped forward again.

The zombie's head sliced with a nice, slick sound that Buffy had probably heard many times before. The head though, didn't loll off the neck immediately. No, that happened when the zombie took another hop and its head fell off.

Well. That was just embarrassing.
