Around town, Saturday evening

Wow, this had gotten really bad. Buffy had had herself a couple close calls, which would happen when the zombies were freaking everywhere, and today she really had worn old clothes knowing they'd get covered in things she didn't want to think about, and she'd had to clean off her sword more than once, and while she'd seen some really gross things in her time, that really kind of topped it so far.

She knew it wasn't going to be long before she had to head back to the dorms, but for now, she was still patrolling the streets. And alleyways. And etc. etc. etc.

And at this point it would be advisable that no one sneak up on her unless they wanted their heads removed.

[Open post! Living and undead of the PC and NPC variety welcome. Buffy does not agree with me on the 'welcome' part, but she can bite me.]

Sarah almost looked abashed. "Fair question," she admitted. "Too many civilians are out trying to get killed. I get twitchy."

"CIA," Sarah said briefly, starting to pace the perimeter. She figured her cover had a 'fighting undead fiends' clause, and if it didn't, it should. "You?"

"Government work never pays all that well," Sarah said. "Who pays slayers?"

"First time I've ever won the 'how much money do you make' game," Sarah said with a wince, which wasn't quite true but she could hardly count the Buy More as competition. "I'm Sarah, and -- do you hear anything?"

It might have just been the wind. She wasn't sure.

"Me too. Funny how that works," Sarah said. "Guess it's time to go try to kill another one."
