Around town, Saturday evening

Wow, this had gotten really bad. Buffy had had herself a couple close calls, which would happen when the zombies were freaking everywhere, and today she really had worn old clothes knowing they'd get covered in things she didn't want to think about, and she'd had to clean off her sword more than once, and while she'd seen some really gross things in her time, that really kind of topped it so far.

She knew it wasn't going to be long before she had to head back to the dorms, but for now, she was still patrolling the streets. And alleyways. And etc. etc. etc.

And at this point it would be advisable that no one sneak up on her unless they wanted their heads removed.

"So," Buffy said, sticking one hand on her hip, sword still out. "What do you want? Do you have some sort of plan?"

Yes, she was interviewing him for Journalism class.

"Braaaaiiins," Jonah answered, stopping for a moment to ponder the second question. "Raaaargh."

Taking steps forward, she asked, "What about your hopes and dreams? Do you have those?"

"Brains," Jonah answered. "Braaaaiiiiiins!" Buffy made him remember that he really wanted some brains right about now, so he held his arms out and started advancing towards her.

When he was within range, she swung with her sword, knowing he wasn't close enough to kill him or anything, but his arms were probably at a bit of risk.

Suddenly, Jonah was missing a limb. This would have been surprising, but surprise was a higher brain function than Jonah was capable of at the moment.

The same thing explained why he wasn't surprised when he was hit with several pellets in the back that quickly engulfed him in webbing. He was, however, confused.

"Sorry, Buffy, but I can't let you kill him," Spider-Man said just before he grabbed the webbed-up zombie while swinging past on a webline. "He's unarmed!"

"Uh, you do realize you're carrying away a zombie, right?" Buffy called. If she had to cut his arms off, too, she was gonna be pissed.

Spider-Man clung to a wall at the end of his swing and turned back to face Buffy. "I've also carried away skeletons before. This was the next logical step."

"Skeletons don't bite you and turn you into a skeleton."

"Only because they lack the muscles to do it," Spider-Man claimed. He pointed his hand at Jonah's mouth and fired webbing at it to keep him from biting anything. "Does that make you feel any better?"

"Slightly. What are you going to do with him?" she asked.

"Radio!" Spider-Man answered. He backflipped off the wall to the roof across the street and started off towards the radio station.

"...I better not see zombie squirrels," Buffy decided.
