Caritas - Sunday evening [Open]

"Is it ready?" Jolee asked. Tino nodded.

The TV in the back room was showing cartoons. There were juice boxes back there. The adorable droid was nowhere to be seen.

Caritas was ready for any kids who might show up.

[OOC: I'm around.]

Katrina was trying to stare down the zombies. Kind of difficult when most of them didn't have really proper eyeballs left. Still.

Stare. Stare. Stare.

A couple of them were starting to look uneasy.

Rusty needed a drink. Or rather, several drinks.

He dumped Jack in the back room and headed over to the bar to order a scotch. Or six.

"One of?" Rusty asked. "I only got the one. He showed up at my door, informed me he was my child, but refused to tell me anything else."

"Long time no see," Sarah said cheerily, once Avery was off and playing. it had been long enough that she could be friendly to Rusty. "How's it going? Got any visitors?"

Jonathyn had not intended to sneak away, it had simply happened in the madness of having loud children.

Besides, look at who his mother was.

He climbed up onto a bar stool and stared at the men behind the bar, like they would just know he wanted some juice.

Oh, it was his quiet half brother from the day before. Hubert turned towards him.

"You got bored of him too, I see."

Once she got over her shock, Sarah found Avery surprisingly easy company, and they passed a pleasant Sunday exploring the island and eating candy in their pajamas. Every so often, she'd try to get in touch with Bryce, but she hadn't managed it yet.

Now she badly needed a drink.

Taking her daughter to a bar wasn't exactly model parenting, but, judging from some of Avery's stories, it was about par for the course for the child of two spies. Sarah smiled at the bartender and ordered a martini for herself and apple juice for her daughter.

After dropping James off with daddy dearest, Tony was busy getting the rest of his spawn to their other parents. So he could stop having to deal with crayon drawings on the damn walls.

"Sarah."

Justice bounced behind him, holding onto his pantleg and bouncing along to a song only she knew. Maria on the other hand...

Hubert was a big boy. He didn't need supervision to go off on his own. And besides, his daddies were boring sometimes. The big building looked a little interesting though.

Hubert pushed his way in, climbed up on a stool and said, "Beer!" Words learned from Daddy. Which one was anyone's guess.

Katrina had been bored. And dad had been talking to someone else.

Soooo, she'd left a note. Gone to Caritas to see the zombies!

Now she was here, staring at them from the bar, fascinated. They really did look kinda dead.

Clearly, Arya had gotten off easy this time around. No kids latching themselves to her, thank goodness. She really wouldn't have known what to do, if the situation had been different.

Still, she was in need of a drink. Given, she hadn't had one since before the zombie fiasco.

Jack was less than impressed with being dumped in some lame back room with juice boxes and cartoons.

So he pulled out his deck of cards, scrounged up some poker chips and hoped he could get a card game going.

A slightly younger girl stood watching him with the cards. "What game are you playing?"

Katrina wandered over to watch, having something of the same opinion on cartoons. "Can I play too?"

Katrina had a huge Coke and had checked out the zombies. She wasn't impressed by the juice boxes, but the cartoons weren't bad.

Dad ought to be freaking out nicely by now.
