Park, Thursday Morning

With graduation this weekend, the school expected most of the graduation guests to begin arriving today. So, to make sure they felt welcomed, the student council had set up a small gathering in the park where the guests could arrive, mingle and relax before heading off with their guests and friends.

There were finger foods on a long table and nametags on the table beside it. Chairs were set out for people to sit and talk if they so wanted.

It was time to get graduation weekend rolling!

[This is just a tiny mingling posts for all grad guests, alums, expats, students, teachers and townies to meet up and talk a little. There's going to be a garage sale later and we encourage you all to go to that as well!]

"If Anna took after me," Adah pointed out, "she probably didn't much like many people at all. And if he was mean...he couldn't have taken after you. You must have some incredibly weak genes, Eel."

"Oh, did she at least have mobility in all her appendages? She would have gotten that from you."

Although Adah knew quite well that her disease was not in the slightest bit hereditary except perhaps to males, which would take on a different variation of the disease. She was mostly just saying it to appease the Eel.

"I feel almost stubbornly obligated to insist that's from me more than you," Adah said, but, of course, she wouldn't. She was stubborn, but she was also smart, and knew that she gave herself over to the Eel far too much. Really, it was a shame to her former stubbornness. Some might consider that a step toward maturity; Adah just thought of it as sacrificing an old and dear friend.

Adah'd almost forgotten about the middle name, as well, but the smirk on her face showed that she easily remembered. She shook her head a little.

"If you can't figure it out yourself, I'm certainly not going to tell you."

"Kilanga," Adah nodded. "That was the language spoken in our village in the Congo."

"Maybe I'll tell you later."

"Just...think about it a little. It might just come to you, darlin'."
