Imperial Brim [Saturday, August 8, Morning]

Irulan opened the Imperial Brim early, she wanted to return to Connecticut as soon as her meeting with Priestly was finished. She was quite eager to start the new line of hats. Priestly seemed confident he can create a number of Tin Hats to be sold exclusively in the Imperial Brim.

There was a stack of aluminum foil in the shop's backroom. Irulan was humming along. She felt this was going to be an inspired new line and she was very privileged that the Imperial Brim shall be carrying it.

No, she's not joking.

Priestly honestly wasn't sure exactly how well he could make the tin foil hats, but he'd never let that stop him before, and it gave him something to do other than just making sandwiches for people's meetings.

He wandered in and grinned. "So, this is the land of hats, huh?"

"I try to make it so," Irulan said with a grin. She really does. "I'm quite excited about our new venture, I'm having flyers designed as we speak!"

"Wow." Guess it was time to make sure he didn't totally suck as a hatter. "It'll be pretty awesome to see if we actually get a good market going."

Irulan nodded, "Yes, although, I'm confident there would be a market. I think its one of your Earth phrase that said something about: 'Build it and they will come.' I'm confident they would."

"Guess we'll find out, huh? Maybe just make a few in the beginning, wait for the demand to build up?"

"That seems like a reasonable plan," Irulan said, "would you like to step into the backroom to discuss this further? I also have tea if you want anything to drink."

Priestly wasn't a huge tea fan, but didn't want to be rude. "Yeah, sure. We can talk hat designs."

"Yes, hat designs," Irulan nodded, "what would you suggest?"

"I think the top hat would be a good one to start with. And of course, the classic newspaper fold."

"Both good ideas, the Top Hat especially!"

Priestly grinned. "I could tell you liked that one. I'll totally have to work on perfecting it."

"I look forward to it!" Irulan said, "please, if you need any materials I would glad to provide."
