Support Services First Aid Station at Caritas: Saturday Daytime

Don't ask why Francine's hair was still wet when she got there. Just.... don't.

Just come on in if you need a safe place to get away from the gremlins (or the pie rain if you got caught in any late-breaking showers), minor patching up, a re-fuel before you head out into the mess again, or someone to slap you upside the head and tell you to get yourself to the damn clinic already. (And possibly escort you there.)

[OOC: Open! OCD up! Support people are welcome to join in the band-aiding and food-handing-out too - or anyone else who feels like volunteering. Also, your regularly scheduled Caritas drinking and schmoozing post will be up in the evening as usual. This one's separate.]

"Raven," she said, moving closer to lay a hand upon his arm. She pulled the injuries into herself, and they vanished from Oz's cheek and arm to reappear briefly on her own skin, then vanish.

"Cool name."

Oz frowned, almost imperceptibly. "Does that hurt you?"

"For a brief moment," Raven said. "As I absorb the pain, the injuries become mine until I banish them. It does not trouble me."

He hoped she wouldn't push herself too hard. "Thank you." he said, with a bit more emotion coming through this time. He hadn't realized before what her healing entailed. "I'll try to keep future injuries to minor stuff."

"I hope no one else will be hurt," Raven said, "but I fear that will not be the case until these creatures are dealt with."

"Any idea where they came from?"

Raven shook her head. "I have no idea," she said. "They seem similar to the gremlins, but their bites do not cause people to act strangely. They just seem to wish to cause hurt and mayhem."

"The relatives the others won't talk about?" he guessed.

"Perhaps they are related, but they do not seem to be reasonable enough to answer any questions," Raven said.

To be honest Oz didn't remember the other gremlins being all that sociable either.

"Reminds me of home."

"You have gremlins where you are from?" Raven asked.

"Not that I know of. We do have Demons though."

Raven tensed almost imperceptibly. "Demons seem to be a constant in every world," she said.

"I'd guess that in other worlds Humans would be the demons."

"Humans are not like demons."

"I agree, but then again I'm human." Mostly.

"As am I," Raven said. Well, half.

"I've known some good Demons though."

"Good demons?"

"Yeah. But they tend to keep a low profile so you don't run into them as much."

"How many do you know?"

Let's see, at least one in LA, that family in China... "A few."
