Support Services First Aid Station at Caritas: Saturday Daytime

Don't ask why Francine's hair was still wet when she got there. Just.... don't.

Just come on in if you need a safe place to get away from the gremlins (or the pie rain if you got caught in any late-breaking showers), minor patching up, a re-fuel before you head out into the mess again, or someone to slap you upside the head and tell you to get yourself to the damn clinic already. (And possibly escort you there.)

[OOC: Open! OCD up! Support people are welcome to join in the band-aiding and food-handing-out too - or anyone else who feels like volunteering. Also, your regularly scheduled Caritas drinking and schmoozing post will be up in the evening as usual. This one's separate.]

The food's a mix of energy bars, cookies and pub grub, but it'll fill you up, and as for drinks.... well, you can get a wider variety than usual, but if you're going back out there, don't be a dumbass. Friends don't let friends kick scaly green butt drunk. If you're not going back out there and you don't have a concussion, feel free to get as hammered as you want.

Karla, who had basically fought her way from the dorms to Caritas, happily fell onto the food like someone coming off the wrong end of a six-year famine. "Here to help," she said in between bites of energy bars.

Raven lingered at Caritas for a time after she'd brought Francine there. And she'd be doing the healing glomp on anyone injured who came into her range.

Oz was musing on what would have happened had this invasion happened on a night of the full moon, as he took off his coat.

There was a cut on his cheek, but he was more looking at the claw marks on his arm. Well that and the gremlin blood on his coat.

Effy? Not fucking impressed with this shit. Green scaly things throwing plates, digging claws in and trying to bite her were not her idea of a good time.

She wasn't eating so much as sitting back with a bottle of water trying to ignore the throbbing in her cheek. She was that bit too stubborn to ask someone to take a look it, so she'd just cleaned up the worst of the blood and left it for now.

Priestly swung by Caritas after dropping Claudia off at the clinic. He looked over the food and cursed himself for not thinking to grab some of his cold cuts and sandwich stuff before fleeing leaving the dorms that morning.

He was falling down on his job as sandwich guy, here!

Oz had a few scratches, some bad, but basically looked his usual calm self. Mmm, pretzels and cookies.

Got a minor injury that needs patching up? Francine or one of our lovely volunteers will be happy to help. There's antibiotic and real bandages alongside the LoofahBill and Hola Gato ones.

Arthur was bleeding. Two cuts on his cheek, a myriad of ones on his chest wrecking his favourite shirt, some of them looking rather big at that.

This was not important.

What was was Merlin, who looked like he had more than a bit of a headache or something going on, with a piece of Arthur's shirt around his fingers. "He'll need some work."

Angela made it to Caritas with a minimum of injuries (lucky her) having dodged most of the scaly green nasties, and was around and organising the first aid supplies until they were needed for someone. Only now was she really realising what these things could do.

They were so much less adorable than the little fuzzy things she'd been feeding peanuts to yesterday.

Jean might not be the best at first aid--no, her Sue powers only leaned that way in the movies--but she was there to help in case anyone needed it.

Plus she could kick the things away from the doorway to keep it open for people to come in.

Paige had no idea what the hell those nasty critters were but she had already learned that the bar was the place to be in Fandom when anything was going on. So she was there and would be happy to orb people anywhere they needed to go.

Somewhere around all of the hustle and bustle, Zack managed to get as far as Caritas. He was still more or less ignoring the messy bite on his arm and the state of disarray that he was currently in.

Also, he was grinning. It wasn't every day he got to get out there into his element without leaving the island. Though he was fairly certain that the other residents disagreed.

"Hi!" Stop being so chipper, Zack. It's eerie in situations like this. "I was wondering if you guys could make use of a few spare healing potions that I have handy. Seems like the Support Services might need them more than I do."
