Considering she'd gotten roped into 3MD without expecting it, Jaina was in a fairly decent mood when she took over her usual shift tonight. She wasn't looking forward to the cleanup that was probably going to happen later, and would be happy not experiencing further trauma, but for now, okay mood.

The two drinks earlier had helped there.

I've been watching Nature's Deadliest on Discovery for a few hours now. I never want to leave my house again.

Paige got a fresh mineral water after three minute dates ended and decided to hang around. She wouldn't mind talking more to any of her dates or to anyone else, really, given that the whole point of the evening was to meet people.

Kris hadn't left after three minute dates ended. Instead, she took a seat at the bar and ordered another drink.

"You have any good dates?" Paige asked, recognizing a fellow speed dater.

"Couldn't really tell from three minutes. Most were at least easy on the eyes," Kris replied with a grin. "Paige, right? We were kidnap victims for the radio that one time."

"Oh, right! I thought you looked familiar," Paige said, laughing a bit. "I think that was the day I got here, so I was a little overwhelmed."

"Don't blame you for that. I was sorta overwhelemed by that whole teleporting thing," Kris replied. "This place still takes some getting used to."

"Is there magic or anything where you're from?" Paige asked.

Dani wasn't interested in looking for a date, but she was bored enough to head to the bar.

"So?" asked Dani, taking a seat next to Kris. "Any winners out there tonight?"

"Not even a little bit. At least not that I'm aware of," Kris said. "I didn't experience any weird rain, gremlins, or magic until I got here. How about you?"

"There is magic, but it's not widely known about," Paige said.

Derek had been missing out most nights due to work, but it was Saturday night, dammit. He was going to go out and have a few drinks and not think about dead people or serial crimes or how Hotch was doing.

"Not sure there's gonna be any long lasting relationships as a result," Kris replied, sipping her drink. "But it was fun. Glad I let you talk me into it."

"Hey," Jaina greeted her, making her way over. "What can I get for you?"

Griff wasn't there for a date, but he was still in a drinking mood so he settled in the lounge with a fresh concoction, intent on staying ahead of the company he was expecting.

"How much do I have to drink to keep up?" Dinah asked, slipping into the seat next to his. "Ooo, pretzels. So, did you meet anyone cool?"

"Hey lass," George said as he realised that Jaina was behind the bar now. "What are ye doin' back there?"

"See? All you needed was to get back on the horse, figuratively speaking," said Dani, smiling. She scanned the crowd at the bar, her eyes resting momentarily on Derek. "I must say, there are some really good-looking guys here tonight."

"I'll take a white wine," said Dani. "Looks like you've got a pretty good crowd here tonight."

"I'm wondering if it actually does exist in mine," Kris said thoughtfully. "How do you know about it, if you don't mine me asking?"
