Robin felt this was a good drinking day. Mostly because it was a day that ended in Y, and because she was turning thirty on Sunday and that was depressing.

But mostly just because she liked booze.

She found a barstool, made a face at Tino, and ordered, "Scotch, neat, please," directing it towards Kyle. Tino would probably spit in her drink or something at this point.

"Sure thing," Kyle said as he fixed her drink. "You work here too, right?"

"Tuesdays," she said with a little wave, reaching to shake his hand. "I'm Robin, hi."

"Thursdays, in case you weren't sure what day it was," Kyle said, reaching over to shake. "Kyle. I should probably know more of my coworkers."

After tinkering with the car, Marcus had gone back to the junkyard, to stow the tools and clean up as best he could. If he was going to be stuck here, he'd need a better place to stay, but that could be tomorrow's problem.

Sliding onto the same bar stool from last night, the one with the view of the door, he motioned to the bartender. "Can I get a beer?"

"If you pay enough, you can even get two," Kyle said, grabbing a glass and hitting the tap.

"Just one tonight," he replied, placing a bill on the bar.

"If you say so," Kyle said, swapping the bill for the beer. "Are you new around here or are you just another coworker I haven't met?"

"Thanks," Marcus said, sliding the beer closer. "I'm new, name's Marcus. Not a coworker as far as I know." Which, given all he didn't know about being here, didn't necessarily rule it out. "Are there a lot of coworkers you haven't met?"

"You look new," Robin commented thoughtfully, after looking over the guy for a second.

Marcus looked her over, then nodded once. "I am new," he replied. "Marcus." In a place this small, new people obviously stood out. He'd remember that.

"Marcus," Marcus replied. "I'm new," he added, just to get it out of the way.

He had a slight limp to his walk, still. Stupid wolves.

"What's bitter?" Kyle asked. Tino, being more knowledgeable about beers, sighed loudly as he poured the drink. "Well, at least somebody back here knows."
