Caritas | Sunday

When Clark arrived at Caritas, Tino was whining about his bar towel being full of dog fur.

When Clark suggested a fresh towel, Tino shot him a glare, threw his towel down, and moved to the other end of the bar.

"What did I say?"

Caritas was open.

After getting into town, the first thing GOB did was walk into the bar and take a seat. "Scotch, barkeep, and make sure Tino doesn't touch it."

Clark nodded, grabbing a glass and the scotch to combine them for the demanding guy. "I'd ask why you didn't want Tino touching your drink, but having had people request his shot records before I can't say I'm surprised." And wasn't that just sad.

He slid the drink across the bar. "That mean you're an old regular?" Clark would have to hang out on his off nights to know any better.

"Former owner," GOB said. "I was in DC for a business deal -" GOB had started a new matchmaking service called 'Rock The Voter' where Congressmen could be matched with young single women or men. He was trying to pitch it to the politicians personally on a patriotic weekend despite the fact that it was the weekend and Congress was in recess. GOB, being completely unfamiliar with the Congressional schedule, thought that they stayed in DC at all times. "- and I figured I'd stop in for a drink."

"It's okay as long as Tino doesn't touch it. Nobody else here worked under me," GOB said, once again forgetting about Jaina. He always did.
