The Beach; Saturday Afternoon [ 06/26 ].
By Neptune's beard, this was different!
However, Aquaman was not a man to let different keep him from enjoying a beautiful day at the beach! All the sun and air he'd been getting this past month and a half was really starting to get to him, so a beach day was well in order! Plenty of swimming and maybe some sandcastles, a few ice cold root beers, and a cross word puzzle!
Well, the cross word puzzle might have to wait. He was finding it difficult to hold a pen with his hands currently as they were. A small, minor detail, however!

...Or stare at the lego person, that could work too. Yes, Jane was a lucky person.

"Come have a refreshing root beer!" he offered. "There's plenty in the cooler!"
no subject
"That's something I can't reject." Because even if it was a living lego, cold root beers were always a valuable offer. So Jane made her way towards lego!Aquaman, trying not to smirk too much.
"Good Afternoon. Are you an...islander? Or you just arrived?" From some Lego land?

"I believe you then." She didn't think it was that outrageous, but oh well, she wasn't plastic. "Are the students at Fandom receptive of a Home Economics' class? And...do you need help opening that beer?"
no subject
"And they're quite good with it; at least they were last semester! Very tenacious! Even though some of the tasks might have been beyond their abilities, they still tried their hardest to succeed! It's very encouraging, to have such incredible potential among the next generation. The children, after all, are our future!"
no subject
"That is good to hear, I guess." She and kids...well, she hadn't gotten to that, and for kids she needed John, and, oh well...let's not get into that. "I have wondered about the possibility of teaching, as I'm told it's not impossible...but I think I'll take this easy; I don't come from a, how would you put it, world? Where I come from there aren't things as powers, or super villains..."
Just assassins, mind you. A lot of assassins at times.

"That's a shame," he said. "I always feel they make things far more interesting, but I suppose I am a bit biased, being a superhero myself!"
And it turned out that Lego Aquaman could still wink, as he offered one to the lovely lady right then.
Still no luck with the cap, so Aquaman found a solution. One of his hands, the blue one, while plastic at the moment, could still turn into water. It was just a slight bit of an abuse of power, but for delicious, refreshing root beer, it was worth it! So he surrounded the cap with a powerful water stream and popped it open.
"Ah! There we go! And forgive my rudeness, ma'am, I haven't introduced myself! I am Aquaman, king of Atlantis and Fandom High teacher, but we already covered that second part. Who might you be?"

And if she wasn't entirely sure, she saw how he turned one of his hands into water, and opened the beer with it. That was pretty awesome, considering he was a lego.
Aquaman? That certainly made sense...? She assumed it was his superhero name or something, and decided not to ask for his "real" name; maybe it was impolite to ask for it.
"Jane. Jane Smith; I'm the owner of Strokes of Genius, a store in the town that specializes in selling art supplies. Although back in my world I had...a very different job. You could somehow compare it with being a superhero, maybe." Well, she felt the man was reliable, so maybe it was time to get it out of her chest.
If he asked.

While he'd gotten the bottle open, there was still another issue. The fact that his arms right now only bent slightly, and no more, thus making it a bit of an issue to get the drink to his mouth. Oh, fish fins...

"I was, or am, an a- I did jobs for money...arguably, most were good, but maybe I did cross the line once or twice." And killed a lot of people.
Was it so wrong she wanted to feed him? He looked...cute and ridiculous at the same time.
no subject
"Ahh," he nodded. Or, well, bent forward a little bit because his head didn't really move that way today. "Mercenary work, then. Vigilantism! They always do add an exciting diversity to the mix!"
no subject
"Yes...something along those lines. Not really heroic...but yes, exciting." She felt like walking in very dangerous waters now. "Tell me more about your world?"
