The Perk [Friday afternoon]

Jaime didn't really need (more) coffee at the moment, but he was at the Perk anyway. With all the weirdness around Fandom he'd learned to tune out the Scarab's near-constant low-grade series of alerts. Because even acknowledging them all would be a full-time job.

Which was Jaime's current excuse for not having picked up on the innocuous little warning of 'previous bearer (deceased) detected'. Not that he knew that was his excuse due to the still not having picked up on things, but still.

It was going to be a really good excuse when he needed to bust it out. Really.

Jaime had made the mistake of drinking some more coffee, and now he was coughing. Because... that was too perfect.

"Oh, oh... That's... that's!" Ted was right. Words couldn't do it justice.
