Groovy Tunes, Tuesday
Oh, God. Jonothon had certainly gone and stepped into it up to his knees this time, hadn't he? Between the time he'd spent playing music in the common room last week and then his conversation with Rinoa outside of that club the day after, it seemed as though he was stuck somewhere in event planning limbo for an early November concert that he hadn't even spoken to his birthday-present-vocalist about, yet.
And so he did what any sane individual would do when faced with something big and slightly horrifying and a serious lack of, say, fellow band members with which to pull it off.
He panicked and stuck a sign in the window.
Play An Instrument?
Bring it in.
Play it.
Leave with a CD of your choice for free.
He'd bribe people into sneaky, unofficial auditions, naturally.
[Open and, as always, free of that pesky OCD thing!]

No, seriously. Don't ask him to sing.

//Good. Now, will you be needing help gettin' yer hands on a keyboard, at all? I'd still like to hear what you can do, of course...//

It would be very unlike the last time he'd played in the rec room, oh yes.

Since they seemed to be on the same page and all, Jono figured that the least he could do would be give him the CD that he was advertising, right?

He went to start browsing the aisles, but he could still converse.
For given 'I'm just jerking you around' sort of conversation.

So sue him, Jono actually paid attention to this sort of thing.
//Possibly for th'best for th'world at large that he sticks with acting, I think.//

//Yer from th'nineties as well, then? Actually, I'm from '95, myself. My tastes lean more toward alternative and post-grunge, but if that's terribly out-of-bounds, I can recommend just about anything, mate.//
Which was to say, music? Music is awesome! Enjoy!
//What do you think of Pearl Jam?//

Few months. Private school. Superhero training. That sort of thing.
//Radiohead, then? We've got their newest, if yer interested.//

"Radiohead it is," he declared. "A band that would probably inspire my father to build a radio in someone's head."

... It was easier to talk about if it came up in casual conversation. Go figure. Sherlock was clearly just going about it the wrong way.
//You sound like you've got a rather interesting old man.//

Excuse him. He was going to jump over the counter and make his way in amongst the shelves to find that CD, now. That was nice and safe.
