The Gig, Sunday
As Firekeeper and Blind Seer came to work today, they were confronted with... absolutely nothing unusual.
That was enough to make them both somewhat nervous. Fortunately, this nervousness did not last long, as it was about an hour into her shift that Firekeeper was pelted with a half-dozen apples. Apples that looked as if they'd each been painted a rainbow of colors. A quick examination revealed that no, it was not paint, and a tentative bite confirmed that despite the odd skin, they still did taste exactly as apples should.
The horses, unsurprisingly, were quite pleased by this particular development.

She laid the marrow bone out for Blind Seer, then wiped her hands carefully on the leg of her flightsuit and took a seat, presenting the pie to her friend with all due ceremony.
(Ceremony was due, after all. Because pie.)
"It's nice, isn't it, now that it's warming up enough to go without shoes again?"
