Town Hall, Sunday Morning
"Thank you for coming here at such short notice," Cable began. He had called everyone here by ways of radio broadcast, and now he was standing upright and at the front. He looked about ready to kill something with his bare hands. "Let's keep this short. We've been in the middle of an invasion since this Friday. Now our children have been kidnapped. We won't stand for this."
He had a big gun strapped to his back that said he really wasn't standing for it.
"We've learned of some potential entrances to the castle, where we suspect the children are held," he continued. "Volunteers will be sent out to test the entrances and get our kids back. Any questions?"
Hey, he'd said he was keeping it short.
[[wait for the ocd up! ]]

Show Up & Listen
Re: Show Up & Listen
He'd been doing an admirable job staying out of trouble this weekend. And now he was quite willing to go out looking for it, instead.

...weird.
He sat in the back and tried not to make eye contact with anyone. Small talk was not going to be his thing today.

And hopefully to do it before Anakin tried to bite anyone's head off or something. She was sort of waiting for that.
Re: Show Up & Listen
Robin (the girl one who happened to be a ball of taut, impatient energy at the moment) was standing near a wall near the front, her mask doing nothing to hide the anger on her face.

... but there were little kids missing and okay, maybe she didn't like the idea of little kids being missing. Okay? She didn't care about jack fucking shit but little kids were missing and somehow, in her mind, they all looked like five-year-old Kirsty, sitting on the train with her frog.

The second it looked like the mayor wasn't expecting their attention any more, Robin was looking for people to join up with, or maybe haul in to help.
