The Weddings of the Century (again) - The Park, Sunday Afternoon
The place was decorated in a classic, tasteful this afternoon. It was going to be a small, quiet affair that the entire town was invited to because what was the point of having a wedding if all the people you don't like couldn't show up to glower at you and your happiness?
No point at at, that's right.
It was going to be an event to... kill for?

Arrive
Go wild.
Re: Arrive
The highest profile wedding singer in the world, thank you. It was not often that he deigned to lower himself from recording platinum albums and parties on private jets with people who had more gold in their mouths than most countries could boast ownership of, after all.
Really, he only seemed to do it for Stark weddings. The pay was good.
In any case, he was busy setting up his equipment, which, among other things, included caged doves, merchandise, pens for signing autographs, and the makings of a fireworks show. There was probably musical equipment in there somewhere, too.

Re: Arrive
Weddings, they were the perfect hunting ground. Flowers, romance, and the perfect dress that accentuated every curve. The (third) one for her was here, she could feel it.
Re: Arrive
And today, he was wearing his favorite suit. His black suit. The black suit that he left the jacket open just a little on. Just enough to be able to slip his hand in under the lapel, should ever the need arise. Not that the need would arise. What in the world would he ever keep inside his suit jacket, after all?
It was symbolic. As anybody who's been paying attention this season should know by now.

Re: Arrive
The little... incident in the common room last night had thrown her a little off course for a while, but that, that wouldn't affect today at all. That was all forgotten now.
Or was it?
Re: Arrive
Or at least swirl his coat and wave his cane a lot.
Re: Arrive
When he was there, he set up his gun and made sure his handkerchief was at hand. Weddings always did make Tyrion cry.
Re: Arrive
And now, he was sitting in the back of a church, wearing a long, sinister looking trench coat with the collar yanked up, sunglasses and a blank expression. He didn't know why he was there because it was so dangerous to be out where any of the Ducklings could eliminate him but he was there.
He was there, watching the proceedings and dealing with the things wrecking his own heart and mind. Hopefully this place would be too public for anyone wanting to murder him.

Also, he needed to warn Quinn about their murderous son. That was also very important.
Re: Arrive
Re: Arrive
He was just there to watch. And maybe perform last rites over any dead bodies, should they appear.
It was a Stark-Skywalker wedding. Shit happened.
Re: Arrive
Hopefully no one would see fit to eject him for his lack of footwear.

Re: Arrive
Re: Arrive
In reality she'd been tired of the life she was living and had faked her death with the help of the attractive, helpful, and very sympathetic (but dubious on the subject of medical ethics) clinic staff. She'd spent the past year doing charity work in Africa instead, but after getting caught up in a feud between two villages there realized she actually missed her life back in Fandom.
And so she (now recast due to contractual obligations) was back in town, at the park, and looking distinctly less than pleased.
Or looking for trouble.
DUN DUN DUN
[OOC: THIS IS ALL ELAINE'S FAULT, OKAY.]
Re: Arrive
Rinoa had discovered that her name wasn't Wrigley's. But she had forgotten to ask Seifer the rest of her name, or anything else helpful towards solving her amneijsha.
... okay, she had asked a few things, but they had mostly been edited out as things that wouldn't make it past the censors, and not really relevant to the topic at hand.
So Rinoa No Last Name Or Further Information was here, bravely, at the wedding. In a stunning aqua satin dress, because the actress had thrown a fit and insisted. Avoiding eye contact with Seifer, because awkward. And hoping to find clues. Clues ... to the truth!!!

Meanwhile, she was here. In red. With a bridesmaid's dress. Because damnit, that bouquet was HERS.

Aftermath
Re: Aftermath
He had been paid to do so, after all.
And if there was a definite rock-and-roll superstar spin on that Stark wedding staple, his own personal cover of Bette Mider's The Rose, that was mostly just because he was the best singer the casting crew could get their hands on for a cameo on daytime television, and that was the only way they could sign him on for a second show.
