Caritas- Tuesday
Kitty had gotten to work early today, gone through the office, and then made a call to her ex-boss to get some answers on a couple questions since hey, it wasn't like she knew what she was doing here. And then the number she dialed got her some woman who'd never heard of a Dylan Maguire, and when called the bar, that number went somewhere else, too. So, by now whatever was happening seemingly had made it over to Kitty's corner of the multiverse. And maybe she was going to have to cave and contact the Professor. If he still existed.
She'd taken a little break before her shift to go put his name on the super-depressing board outside the school, and then come back, fully prepared to be nice and friendly and not depress any customers.
1/2 OFF
Just 1/2 off. Go with it
Your bartender was cleavagey and your drinks were cheap. Enjoy.

The bar
Re: The bar
He walked into Caritas, sat down at the bar, and gave a friendly smile to the new girl he hadn't met before. "Hi. What's half off?"
Suddenly, a badger ran across the bar, grabbed Zayne's shirt, and pulled it off as it darted for the door and freedom. That sign really should have been more specific about what was half off.
[OOC: Shirt-stealing badger provided with the permission of ownership.]

Not that Zayne probably wanted Tino's clothes.

and it was totally up to Zayne if he had a spare shirt or not because I am not taking responsibility for any diseases one might catch from a Tino. "And what can I get you, shirtless stranger?"Re: The bar

He made a mental toast, holding the glass in front of him for a moment. To Dad. The one person in my world who deserved such an ignoble end.

"Can I get a shot glass and a bottle of Jack?"
He was going to make a toast to everyone he knew.
