The Boards, Sunday Evening [Rehearsal]

When people arrived to the Boards for rehearsal today, they'd see that Jono had brought along... well, a measuring tape. You know. For reasons.

"Today, we're going to get started by working our way through the first scenes of the script," he said, nodding to the group assembled. "That would be the wedding scene, Garnet and Lad on their way to the castle, and the Time Warp."

Because, so help him, he just wanted to get a start on the Time Warp.

"Any lines that belong to supporting characters will be handed to members of the chorus, which gives some of you an opportunity to speak at the wedding. And, for anyone who doesn't know, it's a jump to the left, and a step to the right."

He was helpful like that.

"I've also brought the measuring tape along, so that people can start taking measurements. Costumes for our lingerie roles will be supplied by Dite's, and we'll need those measurements in because some of them are going to need to be ordered in specially for the show."

He was looking at you, Herc. Guy.

Tea. Today, there is tea.

And there may or may not be muffins. Jono didn't provide any, no, but he couldn't help but notice that by the end of Thursdays rehearsal, some had just... appeared!

You were so goddamn lucky that Guy had a sense of duty about this. Because it was Superbowl Sunday, guys. Superbowl.

So you'd all have to deal with him having a radio to follow it at least.

Hercules had been sad to cut his trip to a magical land short, but he could not possibly miss rehearsal.

"...I wonder what measurements he is talking about," he mused out loud.

Hayley didn't want any tea.

She mainly was sitting and waiting til her part came in.

And no one was gonna make her do the dude's lines in the wedding.

Natalie had tea. This meant she was pretty much set. She could live without muffins.

And she still wasn't entirely sure about this whole thing, but she wasn't showing that.

Rebecca looked a tad bit sullen when she arrived for rehearsal today -- arms over her chest, one foot tapping against the floor -- but she was there.

Annie was still not sure about any of this. If it wasn't for the fact that she'd made a commitment, she'd probably be trying to weasel out of this claiming she was already doing way too much stuff, but no, she was planning on seeing this through.

Just don't mind if when she wasn't needed, she was sitting with her laptop, making edits to her newspaper article.

Quinn was hoping this thing didn't make her miss Madonna's halftime show. Missing kickoff was bad enough.

Wedding scene! Car scene! Time Warp! A few criminologist interludes, and, kicking all of it off, Science Fiction Double Feature, which can be a solo or a duet, depending on whether or not our Fuchsia feels comfortable and asks Rag-Tag for assistance.

Jono is easy that way.

She was busy trying not to eye her castmates too much while wondering what this rag tag bunch was going to end up looking like for the performances.

Petra jotted down her measurements (when you sewed half your own wardrobe, you knew those numbers by heart) on a piece of paper from the notebook in her bag and brought them to Jono. "Here," she said. "Do you still want me to do the alterations and stuff? Because I also know how to take measurements." She was just saying.

She was a generous soul, and she missed the butt-and-leg flattering properties of her short cheer uniform.
