The school people were still here? Great. Awesome. God only knew how much bigger Tino's head could get with this fake manager title, and it'd only been two days. Plus he had a slew of tiny green alien things following around and expressing gratitude, which didn't help, so she'd banished him to the office for a while.

That said, Kitty was behind the bar, fully prepared to tell anyone who asked that she was totally twenty-one and just left her ID at home, and she was even dressed more casually than usual for work. Meaning there was minimal skin showing, and seriously, she was going to compare her tips tonight to a normal night and see what a difference that made.

"You have noooo idea who I am."

"Damn it." Ruin all his fun with your sleuthing. He would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for that meddling kid. And her space dragon. "Something that will make me forget our benefactors who still somehow managed to hire me."

"Yeah, but if you make them have a tea party for two hours straight, they tend to mysteriously disappear to find someone else to give their undying gratitude to."

Jan was a terrible child. Or awesome. It all depended on how you looked at it.

"I didn't think to try that," Lisa mused, and jotted TEA PARTY in her notebook. "Maybe I'll do that if they follow me home. How'd you figure it out?"

"It's the element of surprise," Deadpool insisted. "That and the kid is on this tea party kick. I'm seriously considering spiking my tea with whiskey to make it through the next one."

"With the corners?" Lisa asked, sketching an imaginary one in the air over her head.

She shouldn't have been surprised there was apparently a kid on the island. And yet.

"I'm Lisa," she added. "here with the school board."

"And a feather!" It was the sassiest hat since that hat shop closed down. "Deadpool, normally the Vice Principal, but avoiding your bosses because... well... you guys hired a mercenary to help run a school. I'm not about to make you all rethink that one."

"Margarita," Lisa ordered, then glanced over Kitty again. "Wow, you look young."

It had been three very long days. She needed a drink.

"Thank you, it's always nice to hear that," Kitty said, like she was so old that it was a rarity. As she started getting the margarita together, she asked, "I don't remember seeing you around. Are you with the school board?"

Lisa nodded, offered a hand over the bar. "Lisa Miller," she said. "I'm a radio reporter up in New York, and I wanted to try something a little youth-focused. It's been ... well, learning abotu everything has been interesting."

"Kitty Pryde," she said, reaching to shake her hand after setting the drink in front of her. "It's definitely an... eye-opening sort of place."

"You get used to it, right?" Lisa asked, oh so hopefully. "I think we're here all week. I'm hoping to adjust before I go."

"Took me a little bit, but yeah." Of course Kitty had shown up right before the multiverse started disappearing. "All week? Really?"

She had no idea how Nathan would be at work tomorrow, but eeeek Kenzi.
