The Streets (and Rooftops) of Fandom, Thursday
After a busy morning, being on patrol was kind of relaxing. Honestly, this was the part of Clint's job he liked the most, getting to watch what people were doing and putting the pieces of everyone's lives together into a great big island puzzle. Getting to shoot the people when they were bad was just a bonus at this point, and as for his shooting, he was determined that no one would be getting away from him today.

Today was the former. He wasn't really sure what he would find out in the streets today, but it felt nice to be out in the sunlight for once.

He broke out in a run as soon as he hit the pavement. He knew enough to not run in a straight line but it occurred to him that it wouldn't matter if someone had good enough aim.

And occasionally, she looked up towards the rooftops to see if she could spot everyone's (well, every Loyalist's) favourite archer somewhere up there. She was entertaining the idea of having a word with him.
And no, it wasn't to make excuses for why they hadn't taken Alec in yesterday.

Plus, he liked keeping his distance because it made him more intimidating. Shorter guys had to take their ability to be threatening wherever they could get it.
But when he saw Natalie peeking up, he figured that maybe a hello was in order, at least. "Hey there," he called down. "Having a good day so far?"

Because when you wanted someone to consider keeping an eye on someone else, you didn't necessarily want to be standing in the street yelling about it.

She made her way up rather uneventfully, which was something she preferred. Once up there beside him, she glanced down and around, realizing she'd never had this particular view before. "Huh."
Natalie was not a girl of extravagant reactions to things.

Dammit.
"How's the view?" she asked.

Karla raised her face to the sun and smiled. "I can't believe I fought against this for so long."

She snuck a view of his arms again.
"The view is definitely better in the sunlight."

She didn't stay out for long and was making her way back at that point, it was getting late and she was trying not to look nervous as she made her way through Fandom's streets.

Inside the picnic basket were sleeves.
Just in case Clint ever got cold while he was wearing his uniform.

"Uh, thanks? I think?"
