Okay, so Guy had not existed on island this past week. Which made going into work more than just a little strange.

Especially with Tino drinking by himself in the corner. Well, that one wasn't actually strange. But still.

Weirder than that shit with Superboy Prime.

Where Zombies were attempting to play some Rage Against the Machine. It didn't really work.

Limbs were falling off left and right.

Where Guy was just not going to ask what happened. Nope.

After the last week, Kitty had to come in here before heading back home. Because she had to remind herself of what it really looked like, and that this wasn't half a restaurant, and that it was in no way a speakeasy.

And then she looked over at Tino and said, "I think he has the right idea."

"That bad?" Guy just had to ask. Just had to.

"Uh huh," she nodded. "Don't be surprised if it gets busy in here." Though if it didn't, it was probably because everyone was off hugging people or rocking back and forth in a ball for a few hours.

"Just in case," she said, and frowned. Not just because she kept looking at him and thinking she sort of wanted to check in on Clint soon. "Where were you?"

Sarah was going to ask that, yes.

"I think I just lost a fucking week."

"You and me both," Guy replied. "How'd we manage to miss when shit went down?"

Sarah shrugged. "Not sure I want to know, to be honest." Though she was pissed she'd missed the opening ceremonies of the London Olympics. "'Bout time I didn't get dragged into anything freaky."

Guy gave that a moment's thought before nodding in agreement. "Hopefully it'll calm down."

Somewhere in the background, Tino was glaring at them.

Probably for the best, then, that Sarah was really paying more attention to the band. And not much attention at that, either.

"Usually does," she said. "Weird shit's what we do here."

Lex made his way to Caritas pretty damn quickly. "Can I get something strong?" he asked.

Right now, he needed all the booze.

"Luthor," Guy greeted him with wry amusement, grabbing something classy. Scotch. There we go.

Lex appreciated Guy looking out for his tastes, even as he as mostly concerned about the sweet, sweet alcohol content. "Thanks, Gardner." Since apparently they were using last names now.

Hey, he wasn't about to be on first names with Lex Luthor here. It was against the code.

He'd probably need to ask someone else for the details, since he'd been a happily brainwashed minion and hadn't questioned much.

"Give me a very, very large drink," Elle said morosely, taking a seat.

"One large drink, comin' up," Guy replied, grabbing the bottle of whipped cream vodka this time. Kitty.

"Excellent," Elle said, watching him as he poured the drink.

He placed the glass of vodka in front of her, giving one of those looks that implied he was not dealing with any shenanigans if she was an angry drunk. "Guessing you didn't miss the week."

"I was a mind-controlled bitch who tortured her best friend and called her my pet," Elle said, picking up the glass and taking a healthy swig.
