The streets of Fandom [Sunday morning]

Yesterday had been...decidedly trying...as Anakin had grappled with Rory having his telekinetic powers. He had not dealt with that loss particularly well, and so he was up early today to get breakfast from J,GOB and coffee as a "Sorry I was being a pain in the ass" apology offering.

It wasn't his fault that in the early morning hours, the sidewalks looked particularly...tap dance-able (a thought that had never once occurred to him in all of the years he'd been here).

Which was why, if you were up early on a Sunday, you'd get to see the Dean of Students doing his own rendition of I've Got Rhythm in the streets. Enjoy.

Jaye was never up early, so the fact that she was today was pretty much the best thing ever. She was headed back to her apartment after getting coffee, and once she saw Anakin, she just had to stop.

And watch.

And fumble for her phone without spilling her coffee.

Anakin's mind was a solid monologue of "I hate this is-LAND" set to the rhythm his feet were tapping out.

"Hello," he said, sounding long-suffering.

"Hello," Jaye said, sounding totally casual as she hit record on her phone. "And how are you today?"

She was going to be singing that tune all day, too. Dammit.

"A dancing fool, apparently," Anakin said, scowling hard.

[fates_jaye]

"You know you can probably stop anytime, right?" She was assuming here.

[sith_happened]

"Well, yes," Anakin said, "but it would be a shame to not finish such brilliant choreograph--I can't believe I'm saying this."

[fates_jaye]

"I can't believe you're saying it on tape," Jaye admitted.

[sith_happened]

"You're going to show Rory?" Anakin sounded resigned.

[fates_jaye]

"I was going to post it on Facebook," she said.

[sith_happened]

"You are a terrible person," Anakin vowed as his amazing dance number finally wrapped up.

[fates_jaye]

"Let's not act like this is a surprise," Jaye said, and had to stop the recording to shift it to her coffee hand and awkwardly applaud.

"Well, no," Anakin admitted, taking a grudging bow. "What did you get this weekend?"

[fates_jaye]

"Telepathy," she said. "So, you know. Thanks for the song that's gonna be in my head all day."

"Least I could do," Anakin said with a little grin, even if he then slammed his mental shields up to help her out a bit.
