Kitty was entirely clueless that there might be anything weird starting on the island. She was still a bit focused on having her right body back, which might have explained today's outfit, which showed it off a little.

Okay she would have worn that on any random Tuesday but this week she was feeling stereotypically feminine enough to also be wearing pink nail polish.

Clint peeked into the bar and grinned when he spotted Kitty. "Hey, it's good to see you," he said happily. Pay no attention to that statement being directed at Kitty's barely-covered chest.

Oh, she was paying attention. It was just as long as it was him, she didn't mind. "They'd say hello back but that'd be kind of difficult."

"I meant all of you, really," he promised, sitting down at the bar. "I see your clothes still fit well despite this weekend's fun."

"Well, for what there is of my clothes," Kitty admitted. "I can't help it, I like having all my parts back."

Plus her abs were kind of great and it was sad to deprive the bar of them.

"You do have very lovely parts, I have to agree," Clint said. "It's kind of nice that the island messing people up never lasts for very long."

"If it did, I think there'd be actual tears," Kitty admitted. "I wouldn't be proud of it, but it would happen. Beer?"

"Sure, just one," Clint said, watching for her to turn around to get a glass because, well, he just couldn't help it. "Are you sure you're not cold?"

Welcome to that view of her back then, Clint!

"Positive," she assured him, getting his drink together and passing it over to him. "One of the many perks of being the boss is getting to control the temperature. Why, do I look cold?"

"I guess not," Clint said, taking the opportunity to put his hand over hers as he took his drink. "And you don't feel cold either."

"You know, this looks an awful lot like an excuse to touch me," she said, moving her hand to entwine her fingers with his.

"Really? You think I'm capable of being that subtle?" Clint asked, giving her hand a squeeze. "Maybe I just didn't get to touch you enough this weekend."

"You were pretty good with the awesome and comforting hugs," she pointed out.

It was like his arms had some sort of calming healing power or something. Okay, that was probably overstating it, but they made her happy.

Clint shrugged a little at that. "You've been nothing but supportive every time something like that happens to me. It'd be mean to not return the favor."

Kitty brought his hand up to kiss it. "Remind me to keep that up, then. You pretty much made my weekend better than bearable."

"Was being a guy that terrible?" Clint asked, totally willing to let her keep his hand for as long as she wanted. "Or was it just not being yourself?"

"Not being myself," she nodded. "Looking in the mirror and not seeing me is freaky. And I think I worry that one of these times something Fandom throws at me is going to stick."

"I'm definitely familiar with that worry," Clint admitted. "But even if it did stick, I bet there's people here who could turn you back to normal. Or, as normal as you usually are." He smirked softly and gave her hand another little squeeze.

With a mock glare, she stuck her tongue out at him. "I could probably argue that, but I like optimism better," she decided. "You worried you'd get stuck some way?"

"Well, yeah, doesn't everyone?" Clint asked. "Maybe not when I was a kid, because I didn't really know what was happening, but when I was a woman... sure, I'd probably get used to it eventually, but I'd have a whole lot of explaining to do back home."

"Huh. I thought I was alone on that one," she admitted. "Though I know I for one am always glad to see you be you again."

"I thought you liked me as a little kid?" Clint teased. "I also worry that stuff's going to stick, being not in the right mind and all."

"You were great as a little kid. But I like having my boyfriend around more," Kitty smiled. "And I've never thought you'd get stuck like that. The closest I came to that was when you were sixteen and it didn't stop after a weekend. And that was mostly me worrying about things than thinking you'd get stuck."

"What were you worrying about?" Clint asked. "Was I being that dumb?"

"No," she said quickly. "It was worrying that you'd be upset I slept with you and me not telling you I was your girlfriend along with the stupid Spin the Bottle thing. None of it was on you at all."

"Aw, Kitty," Clint said, pulling her hand up to give it a kiss. "I can't get upset with you for looking out for me, and if that includes sleeping with me? I really, really can't complain."

"We were still pretty new then," she said, looking a little embarrassed. "I didn't know how that all worked yet."

"Well, I guess you just won't have to worry next time. Assuming there is a next time." Which was probably a safe bet around here.

Kitty paused. "You know I'll probably still worry at least a little, right?"

Some issues died hard.

"I know, and I'll worry about you in return," Clint said. "I think that's part of how this relationship thing works."

"That's the scary part of relationships no one ever tells you about," Kitty said, but she didn't exactly mind that so much.
