This past few days had... not been Jake's favourite, no. It had started on Friday when he'd caught a cadre of squirrels attempting to break into his liquor cabinet.

They had not been successful, thank god. But then the rum had eventually run out and there hadn't been any more anywhere on island and seriously he was this close to hopping on a ferry back home because rum goddamnit.

At least there was still beer?

"You have got to be shitting me," Jake grumbled as he poured himself a very green pint.
