The time before a new semester always seemed to be a bit slow, and Kitty was kind of tired of it by now. Especially tonight, when it was slow so far and Tino had the day off, so it was just her, trying to find ways to entertain herself. Decorating the bar with cocktail umbrellas didn't work out as well as she'd hoped, she'd already built a little tower out of shot glasses on the bar, and now she was rearranging the bottles alphabetically. She figured by the end of the night she'd get bored enough to rearrange them back the way they were.

Don't mind this squirrel, hanging out near the rum. It was taking notes, it just worked better near its payment.

Kitty watched the squirrel for a little bit, decided as long as it wasn't stealing anything, then started drawing something on a cocktail napkin.

After a couple minutes, she held it out to the squirrel and said, "Take this to your radioer."

It was a not-very-great-but-amusing-anyway drawing of the Hugwolf. Which meant it was a stick figure that had a arrow pointing to it reading "Derek" and he was saying "HUGS."

LOOK SHE WAS REALLY BORED OKAY.

The squirrel took the napkin, looked at it, tilted its head critically because Derek had a much better jawline than this depiction, but nodded its little head and gave a salute.

Then tapped the rum with its tail. Hint hint, Kitty.
