Caritas- Tuesday

It was a perfectly ordinary day at the bar. Tino was there, there was enough to do without driving Kitty crazy, and okay the band was a big fan of the Girl From Ipanema today but that happened sometimes.

Kitty felt a little off for some reason, though, and she'd come to decide that there should be a rule against not feeling 100% while wearing leather pants because it took all the badass right out of it.

"Living dangerously, I see," Kitty said, but got a glass to fill anyway. "So how are you doing?"

Hey, it's not like the alcohol worked on him! "Visiting. The zombies seemed lonely," he deadpanned.

Clint definitely appreciated the leather pants, and he might have made that apparent by the way he was staring at Kitty. "Hey there, how are things going?" he asked as he sat down.

Kitty thought about it. "A little weird," she admitted, leaning through the bar to kiss him hello anyway. "You?"

"Not weird at all, at the moment," he said. "Is Tino being weird? I could maybe put him in a headlock without getting thrown into the lake."

"As much as I would love to see that, no, he's fine," she said, and shrugged. "I dunno, I just feel off all of a sudden."

Clint frowned softly and put his hand to Kitty's head, checking to see if she felt warm. "I don't like the sound of that."

"Hey, that's what you do when someone doesn't feel right," Clint said, pulling his hand back and flushing a little. "If it's not, I blame the internet."

If everything was totally normal, then tonight was a great night for a small, quiet celebration.

Coulson walked in, took a seat at the bar, and greeted Kitty. "Good evening, Ms Pryde. How are you tonight?"

"Very well," Coulson said. "What do you have that's celebratory, but not too show-off-y?"

He was mostly just testing her bartending skills with that. He didn't actually mind if it was a little show-off-y.
