Someone had doodled a dog of some kind on a cocktail napkin before leaving, and as someone who wasn't too keen on things like that because they tended to be obnoxiously bossy, Jaye just balled it up and threw it away.
Five minutes later, she saw it back on the bar. She threw it away again.
She turned her back to get something, and when she turned back, she happened to catch Tino going for the trash to take it out again.
"First, that's unsanitary," Jaye said. "Second, I can bribe the squirrels into never telling what I did with your dead body."
If he didn't look scared, he shouldn't. Murder was too much work, even for that.
