The giant rooster outside the store had been temporarily bedecked with all the colors of the rainbow - and glitter, thank you, Sparkle - to welcome people to Dite's Decadent Delights First Annual Pride Party.

Look, there was more than enough crap going on in the world, Emma and Sparkle weren't going to pass up the chance to A) Throw a party and B) Make some money from it.

The door was propped open, the music was playing, and the island was cordially invited. Although, yes, you DO have to be 18 to buy some of the more explicit films, still. Sorry, kids.

There were pink lemonade cupcakes, rainbow cookie sandwiches, and slices of rainbow cake from JGoB, a giant bowl of Skittles, rainbow Goldfish crackers, fruit punch, raspberry ginger ale, and a whole bunch of other moddable snacks.

Don't worry, Emma didn't cook any of it, so it's all quite tasty.

After talking to Kaidan the other day, Sam... pretty much had to go to this. She was even dressed nicely.

She made a beeline for the food so that she could be a wallflower near the food table, and she could currently be found tucking her hair behind her ear and scrutinizing the food options very carefully to make sure she chose something she wasn't allergic to.

As a good, G-d-fearing Democrat, Josh would be drummed out of the organization for not coming to a party like this, even if the location was a bit...questionable.

Besides, he was thrilled that the Supremes had shown themselves to be reasonable after clearly being on drugs the day before with their VRA decision.

After shopping with Derek, Kitty figured she could put in an appearance at the party to show her support. Of course, then she realized she'd spend her time actively trying to avoid one of the hosts, at which point she actually started looking around.

And while Kitty could talk a good game, she wasn't really experienced with certain things. And had no idea what to do in here. So please forgive any texting that was going on.

Sparkle was there, black kitten wearing a rainbow bandanna hanging from his shoulder, happily wandering around and making sure nothing was falling apart or exploding or anything like that.

He was occasionally shamelessly poking at the music playlist when he wanted to hear a certain show tune or lesbian love song, and when he wasn't doing any of those things, he was sitting around with multiple bottles of nail polish, touching up the rainbows on his fingers.
