Caritas- Tuesday
The Halloween decorations were gone, and it was otherwise a pretty slow night with Kitty trying not to think too hard about things. So she was behind the bar, going through an app on her phone and looking for holiday-themed drinks so she'd be prepared when they actually showed up.
Yes, she realized she was part of the holidays-come-earlier-every-year problem, and no, she didn't care as long as she found out whether Hanukkah-themed drinks existed.

Re: Bar
So he came into Caritas with a notebook and a few textbooks in tow, hoping to at least get the academic part of his life right. "Hey. Mind if I do homework here?"

He also didn't want to make his dad pay for a whole lot.

But after a few minutes he stopped turning pages and looked up at Kitty with a confused look on his face.

Re: Bar
Stiles, however, was having a completely different experience. He had lifted his head up by chance to glance at Kitty and froze when he saw her staring back at him. Just when he opened his mouth to ask what was up, she started doing some weird hand signals. After a moment he realized it must have been sign language, the same signs over and over again.
Well this was new. And weird.
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
The lack of focus might have been due to Stiles thinking he had turned away from Kitty to look back at Tino, who was making the same signs Kitty was. He turned in his seat to see if--yep, the zombies were doing it too. A chill ran down his spine when he realized that this was too weird to be real. He must have been having another nightmare, even if this was more creepy than scary.
Re: Bar
It'd be easier to know whether she should shake him or something if she had any idea what was happening.
Re: Bar
Stiles looked around the room, relieved to see that nobody was doing anything weird. Weirder than usual. He turned his attention back to Kitty, realizing she must have woken him up. "Huh?"
Look, he hadn't seen a dead person this time around so he wasn't about to draw attention to a silly dream if he didn't have to.

Re: Bar
That was new. Or was it? He had written off the Jennifer dream at Derek's as a nightmare but he hadn't remembered dozing off then either.
"I, uh--" What was he supposed to say? That this possibly wasn't the first time this had happened? That he was relieved that nobody dead was grabbing at him this time?
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
He haphazardly grabbed the nearest textbook, too flustered to notice that he was about to leave his notebook and a whole other textbook behind. "I actually have to go, I forgot I told my dad I'd Skype him tonight and I want to do it before he leaves for work."
Bless you, internet, for giving people great excuses to leave an awkward situation.

But, hey, you got a free notebook of crazy now, Kitty...for writing your own crazy things in it if you wanted to.
