Having received marching orders from Dr. Tannis (and they were the kind of orders Kenzi delighted in, otherwise she would've forgot it), she'd made a couple phone calls, gotten some spray paint, some knives, some lighters, and some weapons.

And now, outside Fast Eddie's: Operation Take Down the Man! Or the Jackass. Same deal.

"Oo!" Cecil was thrilled; he didn't get the chance to put his Subversive Graffiti scout badge into use these days. "I brought lighter fluid, if we want to light it up in a pattern."

Kenzi was just as fun grown up as she was little!

Cecil was a mensch. Which was good to know the fun kid hadn't grown up into a twerp.

"Yes! Ooo, let me get the lighter fluid!" Hmm, what do put... "I'm thinking DIE JACK DIE?" Squirt!

"Simple but classic," Cecil agreed, nodding. "And we should label it 'UGLY JACK'!"

Kenzi squirted the lighter fluid in the pattern, then stepped back with a bow to Cecil. "All yours, m'sier."

"Thanks!" Cecil grinned, stepped forward, and carefully ran a lighter across the bottom of the letters. "You should get the next one, though. Where is it?"

"Aaaah, outside J,GOB." Which was getting pretty close to some of the crazies. "You guys okay with that?"

Kenzi shook up some spray paint and wrote HYPERION HEAD HOME next to the poster.

"Yeah, I got my baseball bat, or I'll take one of these myself so long as you guys are gonna watch my back," Sparkle replied, giving the weapon of choice a tap against his shoulder. He wasn't keen on getting close to the psychos again, but damn it, this was important.

Shut up. Spite was totally important.

"I've got a gun!" Cecil said enthusiastically. He hefted the pistol. "It shoots electrified acid bullets!" He was excited about that part. What? It looked nifty!

"Duuuuude," Kenzi said admiringly. "Sweet. Right, and we have fire and spray paint, which have proven properties of making crazies back off." She held her spray can high. "TIME TO RESCUE JEFF, THE GOD OF BISCUITS, FROM JACK, THE DICK OF DECEPTION!"

"More like a jackass," Sparkle added, smirking and reaching into his pocket for his Sharpie. He wasn't going anywhere near Cecil's gun, thanks, but he could deface things he didn't much care for like a champion. "I mean, I wouldn't insult dicks by calling him one. He'd be like the worst dick of all. All... I don't know. Scabby and bubbly or something."

Sparkle, please stop overthinking Jack's junk.

"Definitely!" Cecil agreed. He practically skipped after Kenzi, keeping an eye out for any crazies (other than them). "A dick nobody wants to go near. A firey dick infected with - what colors do we have?"

"Yellow. Green. Purple... and oh my god, I am getting the worst mental images here," Kenzi said, laughing and gagging at the same time. "Also, black, which, what would even make someone's junk turn black? Aside from bruising?"

"Syphilis."

Maybe. Probably not.

"Maybe parasites. Parasites with syphilis."

"Ew," Cecil said, wrinkling his nose. "I bet if anyone has them, though, it's him. I mean - overcompensating much, 'handsome' Jack?" He rolled his eyes.

"Speaking for my gender at least, he is so not," Kenzi opined, turning down the street, headed toward the park. "Plus he's the kind of condescending guy you meet in a bar who is just waiting to roofie you. I can tell."

"What's gender got to do with it?" Sparkle wrinkled his nose at Kenzi, and then shook his head as he made his way along the street after her. "I'd like to think I'm qualified to say he's not handsome either, you know."

There was actually nobody in this little party who wasn't, was there?

"Definitely not," Cecil answered decisively. "He just looks slimy. And not in an interesting way or anything, either."

"There's interesting slimy?" Kenzi cocked her super-weird-space-shotgun, looking interested. "Are we talking tentacles, or just lots of Brylcreem?"

"Like squid? I am so not turning my next masterpiece into tentacle porn," Sparkle intoned, tapping his bat against his shoulder again. "I mean, not unless someone asks really nicely."

"Nah, like I said - he's the boring kind of slimy. No tentacles, just diseased dicks." He perked up. "Unless you want to show tentacles strangling him! That would work."

"You know, I think the inherent threat of that would do a good job of overpowering any ideas of auto-eroticism," Kenzi said brightly, as they started across the park, eyes open for any monsters or psychos.

"I'm pretty sure the festering boils would do the job on their own," Sparkle pointed out, "but hey, I'm always open to expanding my artistic expertise."

It wouldn't be that much of a stretch.

"Festering boils are good!" Cecil agreed. "Festering boils on a festering boil. And dripping and oozing, too!"

"Uuuugh. And also, peeling strips of skin..." Kenzi was snickering as they came within sight of J,GOB. She stopped giggling and started humming the Mission Improbable theme.

"Huh. Guess I could like make it look like his face is peeling off or something," Sparkle mused, and then fell a little quieter, mostly because he was uncapping the Sharpie with his teeth as he approached the poster. "Watsh nyy bakh, guysh?"

He had some quality art to create.
