Tino was wisely staying to his side of the bar, and not giving Kenzi a reason to throw things at him.

Kenzi's fine with hearing your sad story. Less fine with sharing hers. Very fine with just pouring you shots 'til you fall off the bar stool.

Billy wasn't much of a bar person, but he was willing to deal with that in exchange for checking on Kenzi. "Hey," he said, giving her a small smile as he slid onto one of the stools. "I, uh, don't really know what's good to drink. Do you have a recommendation?"

"Hey." Kenzi managed a small, real, genuine smile for Billy, for having been such a big help to clueless newbie her. "Depends on if you're drinking for taste. Or adventure. Or to forget. Any preferences in that?"

"How about a virgin strawberry daiquiri?" Kenzi asked, reaching for the blender. "...how are you doing?"

He'd seemed fine last week, but who knew, right?

"Oh, please. No. And hey! Welcome back!" Kenzi winced. "That sounded better in my head. What kind of drink do you want?"

"No, no, it's cool," Bay reassured her. "I was kinda gone for a while. Just a beer, please," she said, then amended, "... maybe make it a beer and a shot."

"One boilermaker, coming up," Kenzi agreed, getting that ready. "Yeah, people noticed, if that helps. It didn't happen in a vacuum." She pushed up her sunglasses, and added, "Or, you know, not, I dunno." It was weird to be dealing with wondering if Ballerina Kenzi was still gonna be dancing in some Baltimore, somewhere. Just for starters.

Atton had been thinking about coming here anyway, but after a series of surprising texts, well, he kind of had to show up.

He ordered a whiskey and settled down at the bar.

He held up his whiskey in mock-toast.

"Kenzi!" Cecil was back to what he'd looked like before all the weirdness, which meant no tentacles to reach over the bar to hug with, but he was doing his best with just two arms. "Hi, ex-wife."
