Today was a Carbon Leaf day. Jono hadn't even really intended for it to be a Carbon Leaf day, but a song that he'd heard on the radio had pretty much punched him in whatever was left of his guts, and from there he had to look into more.

It wasn't fair to say that he was an emotional mess before noon, but he was certainly feeling it. Bloody hell, why did he do these things to himself?

Anyway, there was a sign in the window declaring that he was still hiring, and he was spending most of his shift at the counter with Joni in his lap, because apparently Carbon Leaf demanded tiny cat therapy.
