Very late Sunday, a miscellaneous streetlight

As the weekend started to fade, a lone figure could be found under a lonely streetlight, sax in hand, playing out the night with a low wail of blues.

"All right, all right," Vic said stepping out from the shadows. "That's enough troubadour. You're under arrest for disturbing the peace."

The sax cut out with a squawk. The player stared at her wide-eyed. "But -- but --"

"Shut your trap, punk," Vic growled as she pulled out the cuffs. "It's past curfew and I've heard enough Saxophone solos the weekend to fill a swing band on a Saturday night."

Roland cut out with a squawk.

Police officers. His kryptonite.

And that would be the cuffs going on the wrists with Vic leading Roland back to the station.
