Around town... And above town, Tuesday night
Johnny wore his blue, sleeveless FF impact suit as made his way to the roof of Chilly Boulder and decided that the night was just way too dark around here. Call him a biased city boy, he wouldn't deny it. He liked lights. And if Fandom wasn't going to supply them, he'd have to make his own.
He stretched for about half a minute, just for show, even if nobody was watching but the squirrels. And then he shouted "FLAME ON!" to make sure he attracted the proper attention from passersby. Yes, that assumed that a streak of flame taking off from a rooftop and immediately doing loops in the night sky wasn't going to be enough to show off. But Johnny was convinced that there was no upper limit to how much you could should off, so....
Basic point, the sky was ablaze and you had Johnny to thank for that. You're welcome, Fandom.
[OOC: Open to anyone who might want to notice and/or yell at the crazy fire person creating light pollution.]

...except there was a GIANT BALL OF FIRE IN THE SKY. "Meteor!" Minako yelled, pulling out her phone. But, instead of calling 911, she was totally filming it. What? Someone else probably already called the cops, right?

Did he salute as he passed? Of course he did.

Still, Minako pumped her fist and cheered at... whomever was playing with fire tonight. They clearly weren't hostile, and every good show deserved a cheerleader, right?

"Fancy meeting you here. Like what you saw?" he asked.

Wow, way to impress the totally hot (pun intended) guy, Minako.
"Doesn't that hurt?" she asked, once she realized that he wasn't, like, setting anything around him - like her - on fire.

"Uh-oh, uh-oh!" she said, changing direction to run towards where the fireball had come from. She wasn't sure what had happened or even what she could do about it, but it certainly seemed like the kind of thing a superhero would check out.

That's right, this was a person! A person who waved. See how polite he was?
no subject
Okay. That was new. That was definitely new. But she didn't think he needed assistance? There probably would have been a lot less waving and a lot more screaming if he had.

Beat.
"Check it out. The fire, I mean. But 'it' became 'you' once I knew that the fire was a person..."
Babble on, sweetheart.
