Gremlin Party, Unexplored Wooded Area, Sunday Evening

The strange spell lifted as the sun came down, and left dozens of gremlins looking confused and bewildered all over the island. They skittered home quickly to tell tales of their terrible, no-good-day. Soon, a decision was made, and lo and behold, just an hour after sundown, signs started to appear everywhere reading SORY and WE MAKE IT UP TO U, pointing helpfully towards a clearing in the wooded area.

You wouldn't be able to miss it. For one, there was loud singing and drums that were audible from quite far away, and for two, there were very large torches sticking out everywhere, casting a glow across the woods.

There were many gremlins strewn across the clearing, and they all looked Very Apologetic. And if the gremlins themselves didn't look apologetic enough, well, there were also tables with enormous amounts of food. That was how Fandom worked, yes?

It's... definitely atmospheric here, and the gremlins seem genuine in their intentions, at least?

Well, Merrill certainly seemed to believe the gremlins were genuine. (She'd missed the whole thing, having gotten lost on the sixth floor of the dorms for, well, most of the weekend. Creators only knew how she'd managed to find her way down here.)

She was settled down to one side of the clearing, next to a tree, cross-legged on the ground and telling a small group of gremlins how nice they seemed.

Leda had managed to avoid most of the excitement of the day, but eventually she'd run into a just de-zombified Gremlin. So for a little while at least, she was not Leda. That name had no meaning for her. She was Orlando (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=95653580). Fortunately for the image conscious goth, she still knew how to use glamour (https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/fa/42/96/fa429602983fb94d07a57d974d210c31.jpg) to cosmetic effect.

Robin had once more spent the day in Atlanta but had hopped a portal to Fandom to see if anything was happening tonight. He was totally fine with spending any money he made at the signings at Dragoncon on portals.

He'd brought his guitar with him tonight, just in case.

Jaina had probably seen most of the non-family people she'd expected to this weekend, but still wanted to show up and see what happened here. And if this made her a little nervous, being a) a Skywalker and b) one of the only people who'd seen gremlins en masse under the island in their own domain, well, she was sensible.

Quinn had missed the big dance the day before, so she was trying to make up for it by going to the gremlin party. She figured it would be safe as long as she didn't eat or drink anything and wore boots that would be good for kicking. They spoiled the effect of her summer dress, but Fandom had taught her not to care.

Jessica skipped the party yesterday to focus on getting some new information sorted out, but after taking some time to deal with zombie freaking gremlins today? Yeah, she was putting on a nice dress and partying. Just don't expect her to not watch for a gremlin sneak attack. She still didn't trust them after they broke the unspoken truce by biting her a long time ago,

Buffy was still boggling at the radio this morning, so she had a drink. It didn't matter that she probably shouldn't trust gremlin alcohol, even if she got it from the good batch. She just needed a drink.

Lana was happy to stop by another party, even if it was run by gremlins. She was just going to keep her eyes open. It was another beautiful day in Fandom and she was going to enjoy it!

Bruce was skeptical as hell and would not actually eat a bite or drink a drop of anything the gremlins were serving. But he'd fake it, and if he had to fake a gremlin bite from it, he would.

He had five different options picked out, in case one was taken already.

For now he was just faking having fun.

Okay, a party thrown by gremlins was novel enough that Zero had to be here, but she was wearing her sturdiest boots, and she wasn't planning to eat or drink anything. Hopefully the gremlins would not take offense.

Look, Anders hadn't meant to drink the bad punch. He just got a little bit distracted and went for the wrong stuff.

It was probably a good thing for everyone that his stint of thinking he was a stripper only lasted until he stepped on a protruding root, lost his balance, fell headfirst into a tree, and knocked himself unconscious.

So at least he still had his boxers on this time, but . . .

Well, let's just say that a few gremlins ever so helpfully scurried off and came back with a couple of boxes of Sharpie markers.
