Groovy Tunes, Saturday
Jono was feeling a bit better after a week just taking things easy. He still hadn't put his wrappings back on since he'd taken them off on Monday, granted, but the more time he spent without them, the more he found himself wondering if he really needed them, especially around here. Sure, there would always be the new people, and he'd have to fend off strangers trying to put his bloody face out every semester over and over ad nauseum, but hiding himself just for the sake of that...?
There were students who had no choice but to look like what they were. And he'd been hiding for so bloody long and...
Honestly, around here, not having his flames covered up was probably the safer option.
Anyway, he was pondering all of these things today while he was working the music shop, thoughtfully going through new albums and occasionally informing the stereo system that there was a replacement in the mail, which he'd be more than happy to pull out if the current setup decided to do anything terrible again.
[OOC: Open, OCD-freeeeee.]

Places like Fandom.
Places like Groovy Tunes. Which explained why she made it in the door right now.

He glanced up from a box of used CDs he was poking through, and immediately, his mood lifted. Something about old friends tended to do that.
//Well, there's a sight for sore eyes. Back for a visit, luv?//

Even if Peter declaring he was at war had somewhat overshadowed her receiving the engagement announcement.

(Well, she wasn't very fond of his fiancé but she'd never tell him that. She'd been a terrible person lately but she wasn't quite there yet.)
"Looking forward to it," she said. "I'll try and make it, whenever it ends up being."

Envy was nothing if not succictly informative.
"Not necessarily in that order."

//Are these all steps in a direction you want to head?//
That, at least, seemed like the important part, here.

Actual heart eyes for a second, there. Just a little flash before she blinked.

//This Todd bloke must mean a lot to you,// he decided, instead. Because that was just easier than acknowledging heart eyes, even for a guy whose face was on fire. //What's he studying?//
There was an undercurrent there of 'he better be good to you or I'll beat him into next month.' If you squinted.

Ahaha.
Sigh.
"He's studying at Vegan Academy," she said. With a straight face, which was how you could tell that was just how her universe rolled. "Training his psychic powers."

... Jonothon wasn't quite certain where to begin with that.
//Is it, ah, the veganism that gives him psychic powers? Or is that just the name of the academy?//
Look, Jono had psychic powers, and technically, by virtue of not eating anything at all, he was about as vegan as was humanly possible, these days. And sure, the two were related, but not quite like that.

Okay, Jono was going to just decide to not think on it too terribly hard. Natalie's world broke his brain a little sometimes, in ways not terribly dissimilar to the way his own world did. The best thing for it was to just let it slide.
//Well, good for him, then. Psychic powers are rather useful to have.//

For her.
Then punched a hole in it.
no subject
//... With his powers, or in a rocket?//
Given the conversation, he wouldn't actually be surprised either way, at this point.
no subject
Ah yes, there were the heart eyes.
no subject
//... How big is the hole?//
THESE WERE THE QUESTIONS, PEOPLE.
no subject
"You can see it from Earth. That big."
She considered this a good thing.
no subject
"That didn't throw the tides off-kelter or anything like that?"
People weren't freaking out about this?

Nothing was.

Ah, the multiverse.
//A couple of weeks isn't so bad, though. And,// he nodded to a selection of instruments against the other wall, past the CDs and vinyl, //you're welcome to borrow any of those for as long as you're here, if you need something to play.//
