Very often, when things got tough, Clint and Kitty tended to get away for a little bit. Some might say it wasn't a healthy coping mechanism, but Kitty thought it was fine as long as they could at least talk about it, and she was sticking to that, thank you. Besides, with the last year back home (where Kitty dying didn't even make the top five of worst things that had happened), they'd earned it.

And she was just going to tell herself that as she tried to get through work while suffering from vacation brain. She'd focus if someone came in, and only then.
